Honey Ice Release Candidate 3 Released -- Some Problem Persist

It's 2 days now since the dev at tabletroms release their work on Honey Ice Release Candidate 3. As we all know, Honey Ice was an update series for vegacomb 3.2. But from what we read on the forum, this release may be a forced release. Many issue the dev said has been fixed, but yet they haven't. The touch screen, bluetooth, wifi and some more. I have flash with the update, but tonight, I flash back to the previous release, because I found it more problematic.
The browser still forced closed. Google Map and some application also forced close. The oversensitive touch screen is still the main complain of some. From my opinion, I don't know what's has been improved in this release. Nothing to feel really, for me. The internal GPS also still unusable. Playing high quality video still giving the ROM a hard time. The accelerometer, this is my special attention, because I use the tablet for most to play a game that utilized the sensor, practically crap! The lag is still not allowed me to use it with gaming.

Where is VegaICS?
I now turn my hope to VegaICS, although it is still alpha, looks more promising than the Honeycomb complement. The guy who developed it seem to be more "conservative" than the dev of honey ice, who is in my opinion, developing to break everything. So, unless there is something that the dev of honey ice offer that is true for me, I'll stick to the Vegacomb 3.2 release 9 update 3 and hoping for the next release of Vega ICS from Cass.

My 3gp uploaded youtube video won't play -- lack of codec integration

youtube-3gpJust smile when I tried to watch a video, I have uploaded someday's before  from my tablet. The video has been recorded using my tablet camera. I upload the video to youtube, also using my tablet.

But, when I want to watch the video using the same tablet, it won't play. The tablet says "unsupported video format".

How come?? Of course the application I use to watch the video, has been failed to recognize that the tablet support that video format. This is lack of codec integration, and it should be better if the app can play the video, without having to install the codec prior it. There should be an Application programming Interface (API) that enable some app that need the codec installed on the system.

War between Honey Ice( Android Honeycomb 3.2) and VegaICS (Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.3) -- Advent Vega Modified ROM

hcics
At tabletroms forum, we can watch a war between Honey Ice and VegaICS. Both are modified ROM made for advent vega tablet.
Why a war? Because they has been compete each other, to be accepted by advent vega and other vega like tablet users.
VegaICS still in alpha status. While Honey Ice is a more stable Mod, i think they both has their own fans. But, if we look at the view history, Honey Ice thread has been viewed over 300K times, while VegaICS thread only by 96K views.
Whois the winner? The war is still on. We should waited, patiently :)

Advent Vega Owner -- It's Time For Ice Cream :)

This guy -- Cass from tabletroms just released a ROM from Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) build. It says alpha, but this is mean advent vega user can feel the taste of the newest version of the Android platform.
There is still alot to do but, considering google release the source ICS plus kernel source from advent vega, it won't be to much problem. Some guys has been able to port Honeycomb to this tablet. For your information, honeycomb source code is not released by google.
So let's support this effort by Cass and all folk so they can make you all vega users use the latest Ice Cream Sandwich on your beloved tablet.
